Chhattisgarh is marching ahead on the path of development with blessings of saints like Baba Guru Ghasidas : Dr Raman Singh Chief Minister attends Gurudarshan Mela Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said that because of the saints like Baba Guru Ghasidas, Chhattisgarh is marching ahead on the path of development. Chief Minister today attended Gurudarshan Mela organized at Giraudpuri- birthplace, workplace and 'taposthal' of Guru Ghasidas. After performing the customary rituals in Sant Guru Ghasidas Temple, Dr Singh prayed for peace, development and harmony in state. It was the last day of three-day Guru Darshan Mela. Legislative Assembly Speaker Mr. Gaurishankar Agrawal, Vice-Chairman of Scheduled Caste Development Authority Dr Sanam Jangade, Ex-Speaker of Legislative Assembly Mr. Dharamlal Kaushik and other public representatives along with a large number of devotees attended Gurudarshan Mela. On the occasion, Chief Minister said that in accordance with his 'jas', teachings of Baba Guru Ghasidas for human welfare are becoming popular across the country and abroad. Taller than Qutub Minar, Jaitkhaam built in Giraudpuri has become centre of attraction for people of nation and abroad. Devotees from distant places attend Guru Darshan Mela in large umbers. Dr Singh said that he also visits Giraudpuri every year for 'darshan'. It is due to his blessings, Chhattisgarh has peaceful, harmonious and prosperous environment. Chief Minister warmly interacted with the gurus and devotees present at the fair.
